I saw someone posting this in one of the planner groups on Facebook. Unfortunately, it was awhile ago and I don't remember who posted it. But I thought this was interesting :)

First of all, life updates. The holiday season is coming to a close. Once this week is over, I'll be getting normal hours again. From Thanksgiving until this week, I've been getting a crazy amount of over time. It doesn't help that I've been sick for a month. Yes, FOR A MONTH! I'm finally starting to get over it.
When I had my "Black Friday" sale; I didn't plan it out as much as I would've liked. Yes, it's a good thing I pre-packed all the jars first. I honestly didn't think I would sell all 100 LUCKY PACKS. [My sale was 10 for $10; Limit 3 packs. These are random grab bags ]. I only prepacked/prefilled 850 jars. I worked on them since late October. I would fill jars everyday that I could. I kept track of it in my planner. [I wrote down how many I did for the day and the total]. I didn't pre-pack the LUCKY PACKS because I didn't want anyone to have any duplicates. So, when I was packing them, I would literally look through each one and separate them. I also tried not to do the same color scheme.
Since I've done those LUCKY PACKS, I've realized one big thing. I have a HUGE amount of blues, purples, and cool toned colors. Next year's goal: Make more warm toned colors.
Also, during this time, I had my December subscriptions. The December subscription was a bit rushed, not going to lie. I didn't have the time to do the art. My friends didn't have the time to do the art. A lot of the indie companies were still working on their Black Friday sales and couldn't be in my subscription. Also, USPS was being stupid during this time and I received a lot of my items (other indie products', ingredients, jars, etc) late! My art was rushed. I, honestly, didn't like it :( But, I didn't want to use the generic i+t subscription art. I tried to edit the art a bit (inversed it) and it made it look a little bit better.
I was stressing out a lot. I had a few breakdowns, including at work (so embarassing). I took a 2-day break and that helped. WHEW! Anyway, I'm back on track! RAWR!
NOW ONTO THE YEAR END REVIEW
1. What felt successful about 2015?
-I used my planner a lot. It helped with me keeping track of my bills and subscriptions. Last year, I stopped using it for a bit and I got so confused.
-I didn't spend as much money this year. Woohoo! This is a huge accomplishment! The truth for this is that I didn't have a lot of extra time. I didn't go out as much and even though I was at my computer a lot, I just online window shopped instead of actually shopping.
-Even though I mentioned above that I had a hard time during the holiday season because of my Black Friday sale and my subscriptions; I'm super happy that I got through it without extending the turnaround time. I did have to update everyone on what's going on since it's better to update everyone than leave them wondering about their orders :P
2. What was time well spent?
-Planner time. Because I was spending a lot more time with my subscriptions, I was using it to plan it out a lot more. I was hoping to be more organized about it so it'd be easier for me to work on.
-Journal time. I used to journal everyday. I stopped for awhile and honestly, I only started doing it again during the holiday season. It's my 'therapy'. I don't have many friends and if I keep it bottled in, I'll have the breakdowns (see above).
-Time with the BF. Getting to know him more. :)
3. What would you change?
-Plan more and write things down! I know I keep mentioning my planner but it's gotten me through a lot. I really need to write down everything. And be more detailed about it.
-Draw more. My goal for 2016 is to draw more!
-More collections for my store
-BLOG MORE! I keep saying this but, I haven't done it because lack of time.
-Have more SPECIAL LUCKY PACK sales. These help me a LOT in getting rid of my inventory. I use tupperware to hold my colors and they are stacked everywhere. Because of the Black Friday sale, more than 1/2 of it is gone!
-Break for at least ONE MONTH of my subscriptions. It was really hard to handle with the crazy hours I had during the holiday season. I really can't do it during the month of November/December.
4. What was money well-spent?
-Silhouette Portrait. I've had so much fun using this. I don't use it as much as I wanted to but I really love it.
-Samsung Note 4. I needed a new phone. My previous phone (the Note 3) was starting to be quite glitchy. I had a VERY hard time deciding on what phone to get but I really loved my Note. I did try the iPhone6 but I didn't like it at all. I used to have an iPhone but I think I got used to the Android system again.
-Extended Battery for Note 4. This thing is a huge lifesaver. HUGE lifesaver. Sure it makes the phone bigger (I call it the "ass" :P) but it's got 3 times the battery life! I always have this stupid irrational fear of my battery dying.
-Rebecca Minkoff MAB tote. This has been my work bag since I purchased it. I love this thing. The funny thing is I purchased this twice. The first time I purchased it, it was in gray. I returned it a week later. About a month later, I purchased it again but in baby blue (though I thought it was gray. I think it was the lighting in the store). I did get the ones in the saffiano leather. I kind of regret not getting a darker color since I've got coffee stains, pen marks on it. Whoops. :P But I love this thing.
5. HOW CAN I MAKE 2016 BETTER?
-Plan more! BRAIN DUMP LIKE CRAZY! :P [More ideas for i+t and blog!]
-Draw more! At least, draw once a month and not simple drawings but complex ones like the Alice in Wonderland drawing I'm working on right now.
-Stop procrastinating. Though, I think this might be hard to do ;P
-Spend even less!
Ahhh! I can't think of anything more. How was YOUR 2015?
